Menus of the Day are decided upon previous evening, with one meal typically consisting of the following: Breakfast: Toast Omlette / Poori Sabji & one seasonal fresh fruit from Garden on availability with Tea Lunch: Rice/Roti, Dal, Bhaji, 2 seasonal Veg, local Fish 2 pcs/Chichen 4 pcs, Chutney, Papad Snacks: Pakoda / Jhal Muri & Tea Dinner: Rice/Roti, Dal, Bhaji, Egg 2pcs /Chicken 4 pcs Guest Rate: 850/- per person per day (Including Bed Tea, Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks & Dinner) Driver: Rs 450/- per person per day (Breakfast, Lunch& Dinner- Rice, Dal, 1 Veg & 1 Non Veg) N.B. There may be minor fluctuation in prices & menu depending upon the season.

Naya Village ( about 1.5 Kms):
Villagers have revived the form of Pata Chitra art from the verge of extinction & have presented before the World in the form of a new & modern art. They make the colors of their own from various locally available vegetables & draw sequences mostly from mythological stories in scrolls & present before the audience in attractive musical forms. Some of the artists have also received awards from The Presidents of India.
Sabang (about 22 KMs):
Famous for its Madur craft In Bengal, the word Madur is a generic for floor mats. Mats are an integral part of Bengal’s lifestyle. Madur is a tradition and pride of Medinipur. Women of the households are involved in weaving this beautiful craft. It is sold in the local markets for day to day use and also transported to adjoining states to be used for ritualistic purposes. With the shift in market needs, the weaves are now also used for making decorative and utilitarian items.
Baganbari Home stay is well connected by all weather good motor-able road & rail connections.
How to reach from Kolkata:
By car: Drive up Vidyasagar Setu- Kona Expressway- NH 6 towards Kharagpur upto Debra (100 Kms from Esplanade). Turn left at Debra Crossing before through side road before flyover, proceed to Mundumari taking Debra- Sabang State Highway (about 13 Kms). From Mundumari take a left towards Pingla, Hazrabagan on way to Moyna (about 6.2 Kms). The Baganbari Homestay is located little less than 500 Meters from Hazrabagan.
By train: Take the early morning Local train from Howrah towards Kharagpur/Midnapore SE Railway. Get down at Balichak will take approx 2.30 hrs. Take Bus going to Moyna & get down at Hazra Bagan ( 12 Kms). At Balichak Station private Taxi/Toto & shuttle Trekker also available.
By Bus: From Esplanade plenty of Busses ply between Kolkata & Midnapore. Take any bus & get down at Debra. From Debra board on a bus towards Moyna & get down at Hazra Bagan Bus stop. Private Taxi also available from Debra.
